Parent/Caregiver Workshop

The goal of the Baby Signs® Parent/Caregiver Workshop is to introduce the history of the baby sign language movement, the research behind the program, and the many benefits to families who incorporate signing into daily life. The Baby Signs® Program teaches how to begin signing with your baby, effective ways to begin teaching signs at home, easy ways to use signs in daily routines, and what to expect as your infants and toddlers transition from signs to speech.
The workshop is designed for anyone with close relations and consistent contact with children from birth to 3 years old which includes parents, grandparents, older siblings, nannies, baby sitters, etc. Continuity of caregiver practices both in and out of the home is a vital component in the healthy development of young children. Although this workshop is geared for adults only, check out the Sign, Say, & Play® classes which will be coming soon!
